SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – Crews were battling a two-alarm fire Tuesday afternoon at a recycling center in South San Francisco.
The blaze was reported about 3:45 p.m. at 500 East Jamie Court, home to the South San Francisco Scavenger Company and Blue Line Transfer.
The family-owned companies provide solid waste and recycling services to the cities of South San Francisco, Millbrae, Brisbane and the San Francisco International Airport.
