A person was killed in a two-vehicle collision at Jarvis Drive and Sutter Boulevard in Morgan Hill on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, police said.
MORGAN HILL – A person was killed in a two-vehicle collision late Monday morning in Morgan Hill, police said.
The crash was reported about 11 a.m. at Sutter Boulevard and Jarvis Drive, Morgan Hill police said in an advisory. Officers arrived to find two vehicles on the northeast shoulder of the intersection with major damage.
A witness told officers one of the vehicles ran the stop sign at the intersection, police said.
A “male subject” was trapped inside one of the vehicles, said police, adding that he had “significant injuries and was unresponsive.”
The person was extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The other driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, police said. At this time, alcohol does not appear to have played a role in the collision.
It was not immediately known if both drivers were properly wearing their seat belts, police said.
