Watch: Security video shows TV personality taking jacket belonging to Warriors official

Security video, presumably showing KGO-TV sports anchor Mike Shumann taking the jacket of a Warriors’ official in San Antonio last week, has surfaced. Originally aired on KPIX Monday, it was shortly afterward posted to the Twitter account of @warriorsworld.

In the video, a man wearing shorts and a red shirt strides to where a tan jacket, the property of Ralph Walker, Warriors director of team security, is draped over a seat. The man picks it up and walks out of the AT&T Center. When news of the incident broke, KGO called Shumann home. The station has said it is investigating the incident.

The Warriors have not commented on the situation. But after the Warriors’ victory over the Spurs, advancing the team to the second round of the playoffs, Draymond Green addressed a question about the allegation.

“I haven’t seen the video,” Green said. “We’ve got a great security staff. They did their stuff and found out what happened. It’s unfortunate because what it boils down to, it’s a jacket. But I think more so it’s the principle. You’re in your own space. You want to return to your own jacket. If I have a dollar sitting here, a dollar’s a dollar. But it’s my dollar. I wouldn’t expect no one to take it. We’ve got a great front office, and a great media-public relations staff. They’ll figure it all out.”
