Bay Area fans have high expectations for Pink’s Beautiful Trauma Tour, which touches down for two nights — May 18-19 — at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Of course, expectations are always sky high whenever this great performer hits the road. That’s because her previous treks, such as the Funhouse Summer Carnival (2010) and The Truth About Love Tour (2013-14), have been quite memorable, thanks to Pink’s strong vocal work and her ability to thoroughly command a big stage.
And we suspect that will once again be the case with her current tour, which supports Pink’s chart-topping seventh studio album, “Beautiful Trauma.” Expect the set list to contain both new songs (like the recent hit “What About Us”) as well as such past triumphs as “Just Like a Pill,” “Get the Party Started” and “Just Give Me a Reason.”
And if you can’t catch Pink this time around, well, there’s always next year — as the entertainer returns in April 2019 for dates at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and the SAP Center in San Jose.
Details: 8 p.m.; $47.45-$227.50, www.ticketmaster.com.
