The N-Judah Muni line in San Francisco was delayed early Monday in both directions due to a man barricaded inside a residence, officials said.
A suspect hid inside a home at about 3:30 a.m. near Carl and Shrader streets and refused to come out, said Officer Robert Rueca, a spokesman for the San Francisco Police Department.
“We had our … negotiators out there and our special operations to set up a perimeter and not allow any traffic in the area,” he said.
The unidentified suspect was taken into custody by about 8 a.m. and the roadway was cleared.
There was no immediate information as to what crimes the man was suspected of and whether he was armed, Rueca said.
