Scattered showers across the Bay Area will continue into Monday afternoon and temperatures could drop as much as 10 degrees this week due to a cold front, meteorologists said.
“It’s tending to be a much more scattered type of precipitation coverage. Not everybody will see rainy weather (Monday), more like passing showers and isolated thunderstorms,” said Rick Canepa, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
By 8 a.m., there were reports of hail in the Oakland Hills area with more incidents occurring throughout the region, said Ryan Walbrun, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“It’s a type of a day where it’s not going to discriminate,” he said.
