Serial Bank Robber in Concord

Bank Robbery
CONCORD, CA (April 22, 2009): The Concord Police Department in coordination with the FBI is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday – April 21, 2009 at the Guaranty Bank – 5100 Clayton Road, Concord.
The suspect pictured below entered the Guaranty Bank at approximately 10:23 am on Tuesday and presented a demand note for money from the teller. He also threatened that he was armed with a gun although a weapon was not brandished or seen. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No one in the bank was injured. The suspect is described as a White male adult in his mid 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall and 160 to 170 lbs. He has short brown hair, is clean shaven and has tattoos on his neck. He was wearing a grey / blue long sleeve hooded sweat shirt; a dark colored baseball cap turned backwards and tan colored short pants.
The same suspect is likely responsible for at least one other bank robbery in Concord last week, April 15, 2009 that occurred at the First Bank of Concord, 2395 Willow Pass Road and is a suspect in bank robberies in at least three other area jurisdictions. The suspect may be associated with teal colored Honda sedan that has been seen at the scene of the robberies.
