Major Drug Bust in Contra Costa County

The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office drug investigation resulted in the arrest of 25 suspects in the area. The operation, began in 2008 with the help of the FBI, they confiscated 22 pounds of methamphetamine , with an estimated street value of approx $800,000 (That’s a lot of dope!) and $40,000 in cash.
“Contra Costa County is a primary hub for distribution and a drop off point for other areas,” Sheriff’s Cpt. Daniel Terry said. “They were moving big weight through the county.”
Dubbed Operation Road Runner, the investigation was built from the ground up. Investigators started with small, undercover drug buys in order to work their way up the supply chain to methamphetamine distributors originating in Southern California and Mexico.
In addition to the drugs, investigators also seized several firearms, including an assault rifle, as well as two vehicles equipped with compartments used for smuggling large quantities of narcotics.

Yeaa concord does have alot of drugs coming but the street is getin smarter of hiding it from the pigs and little do they know its geting distributed by mexicans but also your race the whites which are highly involved . Lately i been seing very good quality of pure cocaine alot of it in the detroit area of monument. That drug is found everywhere and i think concord pigs will never really stop it because there geting sliker and snitching less…
