Gun Fire in Concord

I was getting ready for bed after taking down the trash cans when I heard them. Sounded like 5 shots fired off. I can hear gun fire from the Concord Police Academy from time to time but this was much closer. If it were only one shot I would have disregarded it, but there were 5 or more gun shots right after one another that gave it away.
I tuned into the CPD scanner to see if anything got called in or maybe it was an officer involved shooting but nothing was coming over the radio. About 2 minutes later I heard dispatch make the first call out to patrol units. Multiple phone calls came into CPD reporting gun shots in the area of 1/4 Pounder.
I don’t live too close to 1/4 Pounder (about 2 miles away) but I know that the sound can travel far especially at night when there is less traffic and other noise.
The units that responded in the area have all come back and said they haven’t found anything.
So, did you hear the gun shots? How far away from 1/4 pounder do you live?

I heard them too. I’m about 1 mile south of that burger joint. That place is always filled with tweekers. I hope no one was hurt and it was just some idiot shooting into the air.

Too bad Concord doesnt have the shot caller system that can pin point exactly where the gun fire came from.

Hopefully Concord P.D. can catch a break and witness it so they can arrest the suspects in the act. Random gunfire seems to be a growing problem.

all i have to say to all you bloggers that b-tch about crime on the streets on concord, shut the f- up already. there ain’t sh-t going on in this town, this weakass web page is evidence of that. you guys are grasping at straws looking for something to talk about.. well hello all you crime lovers, move some place where you’ll find stories to gossip about and please quit whining about a whole lotta nothing.. sheeesh

Sooner or later you’ll have to leave your mothers basement and see the world. I just returned from a European vacation. When you have a career you can enjoy life and see the world. On the otherhand, you’ll probably continue to ask your mother for money and hide from reality. How’s the advertising going on at that lameassed website of yours!
