Free Comic Day at Flying Color Comics

Free Comic Book Day is a single day – the first Saturday in May – when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE.

Joe over at Flying Color Comics had a line in the rain of about 100 people waiting for a free comic book according to a witness.

Sound like Free Comic Day was a success.

    It was CRAXY!~

The line wrapped around the building all the way to the entrance at Trader Joes. I also didn’t know they opened until 11am, I guessed 9 or 10 like most places so I was there at like 10:30. They were waiting in the rain for at least 30 minutes before the place opened. I didn’t even want to think about waiting around until 11.

One guy was there with like six 10 year old boys that gave me a new appreciation for have only one child too. I keep under-estimating the vastness of Concord and it scares me. At least today I got out of there with all my car windows.
