Updated theme and additions

I was getting emails and calls (thanks dad) about the format for the site. I liked the magazine theme but with the number of posts growing, I wanted to make sure everything was visible. Having to look for a specific post made a couple days ago was not the easiest thing. I didn’t want a boring layout so I spent some time searching for something that had a look and feel I was happy with as well as making it easier to find the news you wanted. I think I have found it.
I have some flexibility with this site. Not that you probably care as long as it works. You can see some new featured posts on the right that will rotate based on whatever is the most popular posts for the site. The main section of the site will have thumbnail images for each post and you can now look at each category easier. You could always do that but I was told this was not as user friendly as it could have been.
I’ve added something new to the sidebar.

This is a list of just about everything I am doing during the day. I guess the term is micro-blogging. I’m all over the place online and offline. Between YouTube, Twitter, news clips I find and the blogs, I want to keep everyone updated on everything so I have added this. So even if I don’t post on this site, I may find a great video on YouTube, see an amazing picture on Flickr, see some interesting news online or be stuck in traffic and complaining about it. This is all done through a service called FriendFeed which is free to everyone and is great for people that are addicted to the internet like me and have accounts in so many social media places.
I hope you like the new theme and find it easier to access the posts you want. If ther are any other ideas you have for the site continue to send me a comment. Thanks.

I like this theme better than the last one. It was getting hard to find old posts and now it’s seamless. Great work designing this.
