Gary Eberhart and Sherry Whitmarsh definitely get an A+ for campaigning. Both canidates are asking voters to choosed them to sit on the board of the MDUSD. They have been endorsed by every local blogger and drew big crowds of supporters this week on the Concord Streets. Their supporters have also set up an online cause on the popular social networking site Facebook. Parents, Teachers and regular people like me think that these two are what the Mt. Diablo School Board needs to keep our schools being productive and not getting fined over $800,000 for INCOMPETENCE.

I don’t have a kid in the MDUSD but I know many people that do. Times are hard enough in this economy to also have to worry that our hard earned money isn’t supplying tax money to people that are going to mis-spend it, lose it through fines or otherwise destroy they school system we currently have. Everyone in Concord should be concerned about the school system here even if you don’t have kids. As a community we should be looking out for the best interests of eachother even if we don’t know eachother on a personal level. Kids needs a quality education and that takes money. Don’t let more money get lost by bad board memebers. Support the people who want to bring change and help our schools be the best they can be.

The recent issue of the Concordian has a full page ad in support of these two excellent candidates for change. This election years is extra important for many reasons more than the next President. The community and schools need our help too so be sure you know whats happening in Concord and you can vote the right people into local government as well.
