Prostitutes in Concord is not a new topic. That doesn’t keep me from getting surprised when I hear about where these ladies of the night turn up all over the city. I can understand where prostitution on Craigslist and having hookers on Monument Blvd. I was checking out the local news and came across a message on the Contra Costa Times about a possible prostitue sighting on Clayton Rd. and Treat Blvd.
Coming home from Concord BART last night is see a young black woman, wearing a VERY short skirt walking down Clayton Rd. Didn’t think too much of it. About 9pm, I see the same woman, standing on the corner of Clayton and Treat, in the abandoned lot next to Wally’s Rentals. She’s bent over, talking to someone in a car. Still looking hookerish… anyone else seen her? I live a stones throw from there and I don’t want this crap near my house. Its bad enough dealing with inconsiderate neighbors speeding up and down the street. Do you think CPD would do anything if called?
There could be a dozen reasons why this lady is there but chances are if she is there every night talking to people in different cars, you are on the right track.
Has anyone else seen this lady on the corner of Clayton and Treat?

I haven’t noticed any hookers walkking around. I don’t think CPD will do anything about it either. It’s just my opinion, I hope someone can prove me wrong. It seems like no one in city government cares about the quality of life in Concord anymore.

And here I was thinking of ‘relocating’ back to the JOB RICH BAY AREA (I’m living in PISS POOR SOUTHERN OREGON — four years now — and few jobs up here). I’m from the Peninsula (Bay Area — unaffordable now) and I MISS THE BAY AREA. Concord has always been considered “waaaaaaaaaay out there”, but now I’m reading about OAKLAND-TYPE stuff (hookers, homeless, et al ????) Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat ? What happened to Concord and ritzsy Walnut Creek worlds ? Hmmmmmm. Keep de Oakland SCUM in OAKLAND NOW ! I mean……….wow !

Walnut Creek is still ritzy and Concord has always had it’s issues the CPD does it’s best to keep the trash in one part of the city but sometimes it spills over.

I’ve drive by there EVERY night and have been looking for this women, or any women, and haven’t noticed.
Maybe it was just a one time thing. Maybe I missed her.
I, for one, never see anything like this and since I read this – i’ve been looking.

I drive by here just about every day. I have never seen anyone there. Maybe a homeless person but no prostitute.

I have seen a similar person walking down Willow Pass Road near Sixth Street. Concord is really going downhill. It is very sad.

If its near BART and its connecting bus lines (the 110 goes right by this spot), then its nearly impossible to prevent.
However, I think CPD WOULD do something about it if you called. They may have a hard time getting there in time, so you may want to videotape a few instances of the behavior and send it in to the chief.
Post it on YouTube and one of those public servants might just get embarrassed enough to do something about it.
Did you see the pimp lingering around? Armed pimps are a lot more dangerous than sexy-time hookers. You may want to include that in your phone call to the po-po.

I saw a girl matching this description last night near the driveway into the apartments adjacent to Wally Rents – just hanging out on Clayton Rd., waving a car into the apartment driveway.
Maybe she is just a new resident and doesn’t yet realize civilized folks don’t hang out on Clayton Rd. at all hours of the day. I have seen her there before… just loitering on the sidewalk.
Ironically, an all-black undercover Concord PD was rolling down Clayton Rd., alongside us last night and didn’t give girl any attention at all.

I saw “her” a few times back in January/February. I think “she” must live around there somewhere, perhaps the apartments behind the gas station on Grazier. I have also seen “her” without the drag get up too.
